Ask the assistant

Answers backed by the wiki. View sources, save to the wiki, manage conversations.

Knowledge → Assistant — the first screen you see after logging in. It answers questions about your company using the organized wiki as its source.

Asking

Just type your question in the box below. Not sure what to ask? Click one of the suggested questions on screen — they're pulled from this workspace's wiki.

  • "How much did we spend last month?"
  • "What are the top three things we spent on?"
  • "What needs attention right now?"

Checking the sources

Below each answer, you'll see which documents it drew from. Click one to jump to it.

Source labelMeaning
LedgerNumbers recomputed by code from the full raw source — the math can't be wrong
Wiki pageA document the AI read and organized from raw sources

If a number looks off, open the source document and check the raw data.

Saving a good answer to the wiki

Click "Save to wiki" below an answer, and it becomes an Analysis document in the wiki. You won't need to ask again, and the assistant will use that document as a source too. Requires sources & organize permission.

Managing conversations

  • In the left-hand list, each conversation can be pinned · renamed · grouped · deleted
  • "New chat" starts a fresh one
  • 🔒 Conversations are private to you. Other members of the same workspace can't see yours. (Conversations from before 2026-09-11 have no author on record, so they aren't visible to anyone)

If the answer looks off

  • "No organized data yet" means the wiki is still empty → Gathering sources · Wiki
  • Something you just added only shows up in answers after the next organize
  • If an answer is wrong, the source document is probably wrong — fix it directly and future answers will be correct
